Stansted 2-4 Athletic Newham
Last night saw us travel to Stansted FC in the 1st Round of the BBC Essex Senior Cup, early goal from Derek O’Halem set Athletic Newham off but Stansted rocked the boat with a level but by half time Athletic Newham was back in the driving seat with goals from Michael Olatunji & Dayaan Salifou saw Athletic Newham go into the break 3-1 up, second half kicked off with the same Athletic Newham on front foot which it didn’t take long for another goal for Newham to come this time a great solo goal by Daniel Izekor, Stansted carried on coming forward and got them self on scoresheet back at 4-2 and that is how the score line finished seeing Athletic Newham through to the 2nd round of the Essex Senior Cup.
Now we wait the winner of Romford vs Great Wakering Rover to see who we will be playing.
