A Team Match Report vs Newham Wanderers

Report Done by Manager “Dan”

It was a must win game to bounce back from our previous league match which ended in a defeat.

We started well as we had two chances to get a goal in the first 3 minutes of galf but they were both hit off target by our striker Kelvin.

Newham Wanderers scored from a well taken free kick as it hit the top left hand corner to make it 1-0.

On the 11th minute we replied back with a quality finish by Joao who now as 2 goals in 2 games, it’s now 1-1.

On the 39th minute minute they scored again from good cross field pass by their player who found space in right side of the pitch to their winger Hamza who finished well to make 2-1.

That’s how the half finished.

We dominated the half and had so many chances through Joao, Jalo, Vinicius to name a few that were missed.

On the 80th minute they scored when the Newham Wanderers made good combination of passes that eventually went through our right back and centre back for their winger to finish the move and score to make it 3-1.

Newham Wanderers made sure of their win in the 86th minute with a deflected goal to make it 4-1.

That’s how the game ended.

MOTM: Joao. He was a constant threat to the opposition and scored a good goal.

Very disappointing result but the game was decided by the fine details.

We go again next weekend against London Cranes in our first home match of the season in the hope of getting our first league win of the season.
